Every morning , Jean-Marc, our experienced guide will take you on a different ski tour, choosing from a variety of local ski touring routes. He shares his passion for the mountains, and teaches you about safety,technical equipment, snow conditions, and cartography.
 
After a 2 to 4 hours ascent with "skins" under your skis, you will then enjoy the bliss of skiing down virgin slopes.
 
You can be new to ski touring but you need to be a good off-piste skier, able to handle powder to icy snow to join Los Clavos French Alps ski touring vacation.

What is ski touring in the French Alps? 

Ski touring means going up  the hill without ski lifts  and away from crowded ski resorts, using “skins” under your skis to reach the top of the mountain. Usually ski tourers starts their day early in order to benefit from best snow conditions. 
 
A ski touring in the French Alps is the opportunity to get closer to nature, experience the silence of the mountains and the chance to meet wildlife on your way up. You will learn to adapt your route to the snow conditons and weather as well as  your own physical abilities.
